On July 13, 2018, IEI and Michigan EIBC released a report on Michigan state legislative candidates’ stances on advanced energy issues to Michigan EIBC’s membership. The questionnaire was sent to 604 state legislative candidates, and the report details the 165 received responses, as well as provides a summary of the upcoming election and they key dynamics to watch regarding the advanced energy industry.

The report is in two pieces: 1) a PDF document that gives an overview of the races and key legislative issues in advanced energy, describes the candidate questionnaire process, and also lists each question asked to candidates and provides a breakdown of candidates’ answers; and 2) an Excel spreadsheet that includes every candidate’s answer, as well as any comments they included, as well as searchable databases by chamber and question.
