LANSING – Michigan EIBC and six member companies were among the organizations with team members included in Midwest Energy News’ 2016 “40 Under 40” list. The individuals were celebrated as “emerging leaders throughout the region and [for] their work in America’s transition to a clean energy economy.” Michigan EIBC Senior Advisor Dan Scripps was honored this year as a “national leader in energy finance and policy.” Also included were:

- Brian Bowen of FirstFuel Software
- Nathan Franzen of Geronimo Energy
- John Maslowski of Renovate America
- Katie McClain of Invenergy LLC
- Jamie Scripps of 5 Lakes Energy, LLC
For this second year of the awards, Midwest Energy News received hundreds of nominations of Midwest-based leaders and innovators from all sectors — industry, government, regulatory, business, academic and advocacy.
