The Detroit 2030 District is a private-public community in Detroit which aims to assist building owners & managers in reducing energy, water and operating expenses in commercial buildings, as well as emissions from transportation and other sustainable initiatives! The program includes a robust educational and networking calendar with specific attention to different best practices for specific sectors including Houses of Worship and Venue/Museums.
The Detroit 2030 District collaborates with over 32 local businesses and 40 like-minded nonprofits to support its members and currently has 24 million square feet of commercial space committed to creating high-performance buildings and a healthier, sustainable city.
